Translation:

Greetings everyone. May the creator watch over us these Christmas holidays. A time of reflection, excitement, and for most just having a break! We wish you all well with your whanau, friends, those lucky enough to be going back home for a time and all the socialising that comes with this time of year. We’d like to take the time to think of those who won’t be spending time with their loved ones and those with less than most, those in hospital, who are sick or in jail, spare a thought for them as we sit down at our Christmas spread. Have a good one and remember all the health messages we are becoming to know so well: ease up on the drink, and all the other distractions that this world has to offer, be safe, and look after each other. Moderate in all things!
